PT Raceway is an indoor, carpet radio-controlled racetrack in the Penn Trafford, PA area.
WHY RACE RC CARS?
Because it's fun! Seriously, racing RC cars has all the excitement of racing real vehicles without the pricetag or the risk of bodily injury. People of all ages, genders and skill levels are welcome to come and have fun.
REAL RACING COMPETITION ON A SMALLER SCALE
If you have always wanted to own a racecar or if you enjoy console racing games you need to try RC racing. Racers vary in age and skill level so you can come play with your hobby grade RC right out of the box or go all out with a true scale racing vehicle that has adjustable everything to tune your ride. Racing vehicles can be adjusted in almost every way a real racecar can including: Shock damping, shock springs, shock location, motor location, steering ackerman, differential adjustments, ride heights, wheel camber, caster, wheel toe, the list goes on and on!
Do you like to turn a wrench, figure out how things work, or are interested in how a vehicle works? Scale racing cars have most of the characteristics of actual vehicles and helps kids and adults learn mechanics and physics principles.
RACE SCHEDULE:
WEDNESDAY: Off-road practice | 5 pm - 9 pm | This is a great time to check the track out and try an off-road course for the first time or to get some extra practice before the big race on Friday.
FRIDAY: Off-Road Racing | Doors open at 5 pm - Racing begins at 7:30 pm
SUNDAY: Oval Racing | Doors open at 10 am - Racing begins at Noon.
